Even though the snow flakes are about to fly, that doesn’t mean we have to forget about golf!  The Rock River Valley EWGA board is busy planning our 2010 season, which is going to be the best yet. We have the honor of having both the EWGA Sectional Tournament AND the national tournament in our area! It will be a lot of work, but it’s a great opportunity to share some time and some great golf with people just like you—women who love the game of golf. Whether you play in the tournament (and we hope you do!) or help out, there will be plenty of chances to participate.

At the annual banquet, I urged each of you to make the commitment to your own wellbeing in 2010, and part of that means playing more golf! Women typically give so much to others, and give to themselves last. I’d be interested in hearing from you, either how you plan to play more golf, or any suggestions you might have to make our EWGA chapter what you need it to be. The golf season might be coming to an end, but the EWGA RRV fun isn't! Plan on joining your fellow EWGA friends on the 1st Tuesday of each month starting in November. 5:30 pm at Cousins on Perryville. No need to RSVP, just show up and grab a table.
